Where the Wild Ponies Graze
This painting is inspired by the mountains and coastline in south west Wales - specifically (what I think of as) 'the otherside' of Carn Lidi - where there are wild ponies and thier foals. They roam this area, where there are hardly any trees, just a few sparse hardy shrubs and the landscape is windswept and a little harsh. There is something magical about seeing wild animals in a space that we (humans) inhabit and roam too.
This is an original painting in oils on canvas.
It is a 60x60cm canvas, and is slightly larger framed.
All paintings will be supplied to you framed, if you have any requests on the framing please let me know.
This is one of my personal favourites from this collection, I hope you like it too.
