The basics will include - training in use of the machinery and large equipment including a mitre cutter, an under-pinner, a pneumatic mount cutter, glass cutting. preparing your work to be framed Preparing materials order list - measuring up artwork to order your own materials preparing a cut list - measuring to cut materials (moulding, mount, backing etc) Fixing the frame together with the underpinner bevel edge cut mount boards glazing assembling all parts together Hanging -finishes and fixings This tuition is ideal for artists wanting to frame their art work themselves. Learn to create frame 'kits' and batch frame - doing it yourself and save £££ on framing costs. You can then move forward to use your new skill on your own and hire the picture framing workshop space to get your artwork gallery ready, when you need it.
